    Does anyone know when this video was made? Also can the average joe take out parts of old(and new) computers and sell them to these companies who recycle the parts???

    But i do own a ewaste recycling plant of my own and this is very true. We do this everyday but our method is a little more complex then the one shown.

    I find it hard to believe that a ton of computer parts(about 2000Lbs) to make 6500lbs of gold. That seems a very unlikely to me.
