It is only relatively recently that it has become possible to learn someone’s identity by performing a reverse lookup on their cell phone number. We have all become accustomed to using cell phones, but they haven’t always been around. Even longer ago, no one had even conceived of something like Caller ID to let us know who was calling without having to answer. If someone living before these innovations were told they’d someday be able to find out a name to go with any phone number– not to mention the caller’s home address, other numbers, and place of work– that person would find it very hard to believe. As someone who has done web design and web coding for the last 8 years for a wide variety of clients, I have come across a wide variety of clientele who have the assumption that to create a website, one must have a degree in design or programming and far more experience than they have or hope to possess.
