Use Digg - place a snippet of your story or news item on Digg and they list it on their high traffic site within a few hours, often quicker - a great way to get exposure and longer term build your links and longer term traffic.

Email your list - you should have your own list as they know you, trust you and hopefully will listen to you and look at what you have to say. I know some people that have lists of over 60,000.
